The Circle Banner - Anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the pairie

Arlin Ray "Butch" Anderson was born to Don and Ramona Anderson August 2, 1959 in Circle, Montana. He passed away from natural causes February 7, 2024 in Billings, Montana. Butch was raised and attended school in Circle. He married Alecia Haynie January 29th, 1983. They later divorced. He spent most of his life as a truck driver and ranch hand. Butch was a great storyteller and will be remembered for his ability to tell jokes for hours on end and never tell the same one twice.

Butch is survived by children Priscilla Curtiss, Jena Curtiss and Chance Anderson, grandchildren Tegan, Brooklyn, Jaylin, Brayden, Kaiden, Mason and Eisleigh, mother Ramona Anderson, sisters Dawn Quick and Sharon Hedstrom and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Don Anderson.

Cremation has taken place and he will be interred in the cemetery at Buffalo South Dakota at a later date.
