The Circle Banner - Anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the pairie

At approximately 9:15 pm we were made aware of a threat made by email that was sent to the Circle administration, as well as other board members and administrators across Montana. It is believed that at least 75 school districts were affected. The threat stated that an explosive had been planted at all schools. We will take these threats seriously and the safety of our school is our number one priority. Late this evening, we met with local and area law enforcement to thoroughly search all buildings. Nothing was found and law enforcement felt that going forward with school would be safe. Local law enforcement and other law enforcements across the state feel the threat is not credible and is a hoax. We are thankful for their collaboration and for their prompt response in dealing with this threat. They will continue to work with State and Federal authorities to investigate this threat and continue to be a presence at the school this week. We support families who choose to keep their children at home.
