At the hour of 10:00 a.m., the Board of Commissioners of McCone County, Montana, met in regular session with Alan Stempel, Ty Taylor, and Lonny Jensen present. Presiding Officer Alan Stempel called the meeting to order. The pledge of allegiance was recited. The agenda was approved.

The November 13, 2023 minutes were approved as corrected.

Commissioner Taylor reported on the Museum Board meeting he attended, in Circle, on November 13, 2023.

Commissioner Stempel reported on the Dry Redwater Rural Water Authority meeting he attended, in Circle, on November 15, 2023.

Allen Rosaaen, South Road Foreman, met with the Board to discuss the Beauty Creek Road bridge project, rip rap, personnel training, and a potential vehicle repair.

The Board discussed the potential establishment of a new Herd District.

Keri Taylor, DES Coordinator, met with the Board to discuss the Civic Plus program invoice.

Nita Crockett, Treasurer, met with the Board to discuss an issue with the State tax system.

The Board attended the LEPC Meeting at noon.

The meeting was opened to public participation at 1:00 p.m.

The Board approved the purchase of a sign making kit for approximately $640 by the Public Health Department using grant funds.

Voucher #1018 in the amount of $3,918.75 was reviewed and approved to replace a check that was not received by the payee. (A copy of the voucher is on file in the Commissioners' files.)

Nancy Stempel, GIS Coordinator, met with the Board to discuss GIS issues to include State requirements for Next Gen 911 maps.

Nita Crockett, Treasurer, met with the Board to present the Cash Reconciliation and Investment Report for October, 2023. Commissioner Jensen moved to approve the report and Commissioner Taylor seconded. The motion passed 3-0. (A copy of the report is on file in the Commissioners' files.)

The Board met with Jeff Skyberg, Airport Manager, by phone, to discuss the breach in the Airport fence.

Nita Crockett, Treasurer, Sherry Kluth, Clerk and Recorder, Keri Taylor DES Coordinator, Nancy Stempel, GIS Coordinator, and Paula Pederson, Deputy Treasurer, met with the Board to discuss a possible transition to a new IT support company.

Sherry Kluth, Clerk and Recorder, met with the Board to discuss the audit letter from the State and developed a plan for a response.

Correspondence occupied the Board for the rest of the day. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
