Anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the pairie

What can 5 days in Montana look like: From Tumbleweed drifts to Snow Drifts

Oct 17th Tumbleweeds in Great falls MT caused from strong winds in the area, then 5 days later we have our first snow storm of the season and it was a doozy/ Had it all, snow , wind and cold. Slick roads and drifting had the road crews and tow truck busy. Thank you to all the help given out there. We all know it will happen every year, but it always is a little surprising every year when it happens. I for one love the snow always has, even though as a child I was snowed in Circle for a week in the 70's. I remember Dad saying Leroy had driven Suzanne to Circle on a snowmobile to give birth to their youngest daughter, Steffanie. I spent my week with Mickyee and Gary Botsford, Dean and Jan McCabe (1st one-not sure how to state that, not to offend anyone). Gramma Roody and Grandpa Larson. Many have pictures of that storm covering buildings and machinery. Any who thanks to the road crews and tow truck drivers that are out there when we aren't doing what we can't. Oh yes and we in Brockway would like to thank Ryan Brost for always plowing the streets without being asked!! You really are amazing-but I may be biased.
