The Circle Banner - Anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the pairie

Andrea Olivia Berg Allen of Redmond Oregon passed away in the arms of her family on July 12th, 2023 at her son's home in Redmond Oregon.

Andrea was born in Cut Bank, Montana on December 10, 1942 to Lyle Emorie Bergh and Cleo Bernice Belstad. Her loving family consisted of three brothers Lanny, Harley & Craig and four sisters Cheryl, Paulette, Laurel and Sheila.

Andrea graduated high school in Circle Montana in 1960 as the class Valedictorian, after High School she attended Eastern Montana College. Andrea married the love of her life David Lee Allen of Choteau, Montana on February 10, 1962 in Circle, Montana. After David and Andrea's wedding, they began their life together on an Army base in France where their first son David was born. After living in France they were stationed at Fort Lewis Army base in Washington State. After David's enlistment they moved to Laurel Montana, where Danielle was born. Later they settled in Oregon where Jason was born.

Andrea was a school bus driver for many years in Junction City Oregon, she enjoyed that time getting to know the kids in the community from elementary to high school. Almost every summer she would drive new school buses from the factories anywhere from Ohio all the way to Georgia and drive them back to Oregon. Many of those school bus trips were spent with family members as it was a great way to see America. Andrea had a passion for travel which was spurred by going to and living in France.

Andrea lives on through their children; David Allen (Leslie) of Jordan Valley Oregon, Danielle Walker (David) of Puyallup Washington, Jason Allen (Jen) of Redmond Oregon. Grandchildren; Erica (Mike), Jeffrey (Mandalynn), Joshua, Ashley (Cory), Jacob and great grandson Hudson. Andrea was Preceded in death by her husband David, her Mother & Father and siblings Sheila, Lanny & Paulette

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Riverview Cemetery in Circle. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: http://www.stevensonandsons.com.
