101 Main Street, was home to The Gladstone, one of Circle original buildings on Main street, burned to the ground on September 21st, 2023. The Gladstone was built in 1915 during the building of the Great Northern Railroad. The Gladstone was a two-story Hotel that had weathered many changes over the decades. Prohibition caused the local bar inside The Gladstone to close and it was never re-opened. The Gladstone was added to the National Register of Historic Placed in 1980.
