The big news this week has been the fire September 21st that destroyed the old Gladstone Hotel on Main Street. It had been an iconic building in Circle since being built in 1915. In its hay day, it flourished as a restaurant, bar and hotel and host to travelers, country folks in Circle on business and hungry people looking for a good place to eat. The business changed ownership several times throughout its history, but sadly had been vacant and deteriorating over the past 20+ years.
