Dan Schmidt, age 74,of Grand Junction Colorado, passed away on Saturday, August 6th,2016,at his home in Grand Junction. Dan was born in Circle, MT, on June 29th,1942. He was the son of Emil and Ina Schmidt.

He grew up in the Brockway, Watkins area.He attended school in Brockway and Skull Creek country school. He graduated from Circle High Schoo1 in 1960.

During his school years he worked for area farmers and ranchers.

He moved with a seismograph crew to Utah and Colorado. He married Patricia Medina of Price, Utah. Dan is survived by Patricia, his sons Dan, Tom and Lance, and his grandchildren; brother Leo (Aggie)and children of Circle, MT; sister Ruth (Phil) Reed and children of Koaski, Idaho.

He was preceded in death

by his parents Emil and Ida, and one son David. A

Memorial Service will be Wednesday September 12th, 2023 at 2PM at the Circle Cemetery.
