The Circle Banner - Anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the pairie

Saturday July 29th 2023, Rock Creek Marina was hopping and bobbering with the Annual Kids Fishing Day. It is reported round 20 kids. All kids got t-shirts and lunch. The kids with the biggest species of fish won a prize. 1st place walleye received a fishing pole. 1st place northern received fishing pole also. 2nd place both species won backpack tackle boxed with tackle. T-shirts were donated by Grasslands Federal Credit Union and Stitchworx. It looks like it was a BASSt. Kids who fish are the coolest in my opinion!!
