A recent fire at Wittkopps a tractor and hay baler burned up. Because of the quick response of McCone County Volunteer Firefighter s, the acreage burned was rather small, appeared to be about 10-20 acres
McCone county volunteer fire department reached out to the Banner and wanted to place a thank you note in Banner to thank the 100 Club and community. McCone volunteer fire department has added a new Type 6 class fire truck to its fleet this summer. I, as editor think we should be thanking our VOLUNTEER fire department. They, without hesitation and thought of personal injury climb in the fire trucks and head to a fire scene not knowing what to expect. The McCone County Volunteer Fire Department thanks the 100 club for donating the flat bed. A special thanks to Rick Johnson for his time...
