Anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the pairie

Marjorie Haber

Marjorie Haber, age 89, of Circle, passed away on April 9, 2023, at McCone County Health Center with her husband by her side.

Marjorie was born to Ralph & Orpha (Woodward) Dann on September 8, 1933, in Hardin, Montana. Three years later she would be joined by her younger brother Donald Dann. She grew up on the family ranch west of Brockway. Her mom was a schoolteacher, wherever her mom was teaching is where Marjorie would spend most of her grade school and high school years. She married Don Haber on December 14, 1984. They lived on the family ranch in Brockway where they raised cows and did a little wheat farming. They also raised bum lambs, colts and had two Arabian Stallions.

Marjorie loved her cats, spending time gardening and caring for her house plants. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for others. She was actively involved in the Brockway Homemakers Club. Marjorie had a deep faith in the Lord and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Circle. Marjorie enjoyed volunteering as a senior companion for several years.

Marjorie is survived by her husband Don Haber of Circle, MT; five children: Roxy Kuzminski, Marcella Rowe, Jeffrey Monroe, Sandra Baker and Phillip Monroe; a step-daughter Sandra Parrent and two step sons: Joe Haber and Randy Haber. She was preceded in death by two step-sons: Randy Ray Haber and Rick Haber.
