Commissioner Minutes McCONE COUNTY, MONTANA

At the hour of 9:00 a.m., the Board of Commissioners of McCone County, Montana, attended the Safety meeting.

At the hour of 10:00 a.m., the Board of Commissioners of McCone County, Montana, met in regular session with Alan Stempel, and Ty Taylor present. Presiding Officer Alan Stempel called the meeting to order. The pledge of allegiance was recited. The agenda was approved.

There were no Committee Reports.

The Board reviewed the AWOS Maintenance Contract. Commissioner Taylor moved to approve the Contract and Commissioner Stempel seconded. The motion passed 2-0. (A copy of the AWOS Contract is on file in the Commissioners' files.)

The Board reviewed the Montana Natural Resource Coalition Invoice. Commissioner Taylor moved to approve the Invoice and Commissioner Stempel seconded. The motion passed 2-0. (A copy of the Invoice is on file in the Commissioners' files.)

The Board reviewed the Eastern Montana Drug Task Force Memorandum of Understanding. Commissioner Taylor moved to approve the MOU and Commissioner Stempel seconded. The motion passed 2-0. (A copy of the MOU is on file in the Commissioners' files.)

Nancy Stempel, GIS Coordinator, met with the Board to discuss addressing, and grant issues. Commissioner Stempel abstained from the discussion.

Keri Taylor, DES Coordinator, met with the Board to discuss DES, and Safety issues. Commissioner Taylor abstained from the discussion.

The meeting was opened to public participation at 1:00 p.m.

Uriah Kirkegaard, Kirkegaard Construction, met with the Board to discuss the required repairs to the roof of the Vejtasa Building roof.

Charlene Reddig, representative for Senator Daines, met with the Board to discuss the 1033 program, American Prairie, ARPA funds, agriculture issues, and the Dry Redwater Rural Water Authority issues.

The Board tabled interviews for the North Road Shop Lead Man position.

Herb Allison, Museum Curator, met with the Board to discuss auction, heating, electric, and trash issues.

Allen Rosaaen, South Road Foreman, met with the Board, by phone, to discuss personnel issues, equipment repairs, and snow removal.

Sherry Kluth, Clerk and Recorder, met with the Board to discuss personnel issues, legislative issues, and roof repair at the Vejtasa Building.

Kerry Eissinger, Deputy Clerk and Recorder, met with the Board to discuss Courthouse issues.

Correspondence occupied the Board the remainder of the day.

The meeting adjourned at 3:30 p.m.
