Donald Edward Garfield (Don) died peacefully at his home in Meriden on Friday evening, February 17, 2023, following a courageous battle with cancer. Don was born on February 28, 1941 in Circle, Montana, the second child of Louis Ragan Garfield and Agnes Mabel (Peterson) Garfield. He spent his early years on his family's cattle ranch where Don developed an adventurous spirit and scientific curiosity. He was a lifelong dedicated worker, which started when he was a young child.
