Witness appears in ( George Motzkoff) Court too intoxicated to testify: is fined $50 For contempt-a bootlegger was arrested and punished and the defendant convicted as a result of the second trail of August Ritz, charged with unlawfully manufacturing "white mule". Ritz was sentenced to pay a fine of $1000 and send 30 days in the county jail.

BROCKWAY SCHOOL NOTES
The principle of the Brockway High honorably upheld by Herbert Syverson, Alice Seeley and Grace Fleming, in the first preliminary debate held at Terry last week. The Misses Adams and Dravis entertained all the young folks at a dancing party held at the "Brockway knowledge Press", last Friday evening. Everyone had a good time. Saturday the 27th there si to be a dance at the Watkins school.

Lloyd Decker and Iona Ferch will get out the Reporter this Semester. Visitors: Miss Susan Arnett and Mrs DeLapp were visitors at our school last Monday.

Fritz Massar has a crew at work putting up ice these days.
Mr and MRs. Eugene T Kirchn95er, the newly-weds, returned home Saturday evening from a short wedding trip to Billings, Montana and Ryder N.Dakota, Mrs Kirchner having a sister residing at the latter place. The newly-weds were given the usual rousing welcome upon their arrival and Eugene immediate proceeded to but the "seegars."

REPORTS OF RECREATION PLANS
State and county governments are giving army engineers "gratifying and substantial cooperation" in plans for recreational facilities along
the huge Fort Peck dam reservoir according to Colonel E.H. Walter, army district field engineer, of Fort Peck.
HELEN LARSON WED IN ST.LOUIS DEC 30th
In an evening candlelight ceremony, Miss Helen Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nyites Sigred Larson of Brockway, wed Eugene E Elchler.
DEATH CALLS MRS CON KUCKLER
Max Lehman received word yesterday Mrs. Con Kuckler passed away. Mrs. Kuckler underwent a major operation in December and has been failing since. Mr. Kuckler has been with her constantly, and their son Jim of Circle was called to her bedside last week.
CIRCLE HAS NEW "COP"
Glenn Daly has been appointed Chief of Police for Circle to take the place of Dan Morgan who has resigned.
BROCKWAY NEWS
Barbara and Sharon Kountz, Myrna Stott and Jackie Lane enjoyed their ride in Jack Kountz plane. Mrs Bessie Langton, and children spent Sunday in Terry visiting relatives. Albert Brost and family are moving into their new house, just south of the school house. For the past week Brockway has a Dr. Edwards who has quarters at the Lane Hotel.
MRs Edwin Bieber entertained at supper in honor of her son LeRoy's birthday on January 8th. The 1st graders present were Myrna Maier, Leo Schmidt, Gary Bond, Maybelle Sowle, Duane Gackle, Eddie Brost, Jerry Hendrickson and also Mrs Emil Schmidt, Ruthie and Donny, Mrs Sam Borgen and Jo Ann, and Mrs Leo Larson and Cheryl.

Anna Lee Verschoot returned home Monday, after a two-month trip that took her to Ronan, Columbia Falls and Bozeman, Montana, where she visited friends and relatives.

The Brockway Bar hosted a Super Bowl party Sunday in conjunction with Richard Steele's birthday party.
