After 20 years with McCone County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Lonny Jensen retired December 31, 2022. Many friends and co-workers help pay for a custom rifle gifted to him for all his years of service. A party held in his honor on Dec 27, 2022. His family had t-shirts made for special occasion(depicted in picture).
It is stated best by Virginia Richardson ( 911 Coordinator who has worked with Lonny all 20 years). "Our county is blessed with his love for the people, his wit, dedication, and service. He is not going far; he begins his new role as a county commissioner this week."
